What would we call as reality? Part 2

In the Stone Age, there were different species of humans. Out of those different species, only one species was able to keep itself alive, and all the other species got lost over time. We are the descendants of that species, which was better than other species of humans. Will you be able to tell the name of that species (of our ancestors) to man?
Homo-Sapien.

Yuval Harari, the first historian, who stirred the discussion regarding that: Why are homo sapiens better than the rest of humans? How the other species were lost in time, but homo sapiens saved themselves. In response to these questions, Yuval Harari gives some arguments.
1. Homo sapiens developed a language to communicate with each other.
2. Homo sapiens were able to cooperate in large numbers. (Chimpanzees lived in groups of at most 50.) Homo sapiens lived in groups of more than 150 people.
3. The only language is not enough to keep any group together. Some stories are needed to keep any group together — stories about religion, about God, about life, about death, etc. Homo sapiens were able to originate stories in this way. These stories put large numbers of people together, forcing them to cooperate.
In short, today’s man (descendant of Homosepiens) means we are ruling this world because we have stories to tie the group together. This is an event of 20000 years ago*. That world in forests was perilous. Only the powerful one could survive. Humans also used to hunt for food in small groups like animals. There was a small tribe in Europe. This tribe was a hunting tribe. The tribe had a chief, and the name of the son of the chief was Keda. Along with the other youngster of the tribe, the chief used to teach hunting to Keda. But Keda was a little weak, hesitant to hunt, and maybe even a little afraid.
One day the whole tribe goes out to hunt, including Keda and his father. They see the herd of bison from far away. The strategy is made to hunt the herd of bison. All the hunters of the tribe go near the herd very slowly. Everybody lay on the ground before hunting, There is complete silence, and one can hear their heartbeat. All the hunters are ready to attack, waiting for the order of the chief.
Then the chief shouts’ Attack’, all hunters attack the herd. The wild buffalos are stunned by this sudden attack and started running around. The hunters are running with the spear behind those bison. Suddenly a buffalo turns around and attacks. It starts running towards Keda, within a few moments, it picks up Keda on her horns and throws him in the valley.
All this happens so quickly that the rest of the hunters do not get time to save Keda. From that top of the hill, Keda’s father tries to jump for saving his child, but other people from the tribe stops him from jumping since the probability of survival of the Keda after falling from the mountain is negligible. Finally, after realizing that Kada has died, everyone heads towards the caves with a sad heart.
But fortunately, Keda was not dead; he was just injured. When he comes to his senses, he finds himself alone. He is deeply shocked, he gets scared, starts running, weeping. Keda has come far away from his home in a river current; he does not know the way to go back home; he has been injured. He manages himself and moves forward.
He falls on a hard time & here is another misfortune awaiting for him. Some wild wolves attack him, and the injured Keda rushes to escape them with full force and climbs a tree. A wolf tries to climb a tree to hunt Keda. To save himself, Keda attacks the wolf. The wolf gets injured and falls under that tree. Other wolves go away leaving the injured wolf behind.
After some time, Keda descends and lifts a spear to kill the wounded wolf. But, Keda feels humble for that injured wolf and takes him to a cave to save the wolf. Keda applies some juice of medicinal leaves on his wounds. He gives him food. He takes care of the wolf. Gradually, a friendship develops in that wild sheep and Keda.
Now, they started tackling problems together. They stay together even in the snowstorm. When attacked by wild creatures, these two fight with full force to save each other’s life. In such a way, by tackling every problem on their way, Keda and the wolf reaches the tribe.
The story of Keda and the wild wolf inspired and motivated the coming generations for fights. It taught the lesson of friendship and set Keda as a hero. Every youth of the clan dreamed of becoming like Keda.
This story may be real or fiction, but it gave a clan a model, gave a hero, kept them together. These and other stories created the history of that tribe and this history created the faith in the clan that ‘We are all one’.
That is why Yuval Harari says: the ability of humans to build up stories kept the society together, inspired people to support each other. This made the human species the most dominant species on the earth. These stories made religion, history, country, society, and man.
Through this story of Shiva Purana, let’s try to understand this point. Goddess Parvarti made an effigy after removing Chrism (Ubtan) from her body and put life in it. Lord Ganesha was born in this way.
One day Ganesha was sitting at the gate, and Lord Shiva reached there. Ganesha stopped him from entering into the house, and in anger, Lord Shiva cut the head of Bal Ganesha. When later he came to know that Pavarti had made Ganesha, then the head of an elephant was mounted by Lord Shiva on Ganesha’s body in exchange for that cut head and put life into that body.
We will not discuss whether the story is real or imaginary. But like these stories and the ability to tell the tale had bound the humans in the community. Lokmanya Tilak gathered millions in the name of Ganesh Utsav, named it a religious festival, and he used that collective power to make India independent.
In this way, the ability to work together made Homosepiance (the man of today) the most powerful species in this world. Because Homosepians believed in dialogue, they used stories, and these stories connected millions of people taught them to fight and made them realize the power of unity.
So now the question is: what will we call reality? We created a story called ‘Nation,’ and later on, that story became our reality. We created a story called ‘money’ to make everyday life easier, and today the same story has become our reality. We have created another story called ‘Dharma (religion),’ and religion has become our reality.
So what is reality? Don’t you think that we create a story, later forget that it was just a story, and we begin to accept that story as reality? In short, there is no reality in life; our stories become our reality. We have coined some stories to continue with normal life, and we have forgotten that they are just stories. We started accepting those stories as real, and ultimately these stories started ruling our life.
In the end, I leave you with some questions. What stories have you created about your personality, which you believe are real? What stories have you made about money? What are your stories about religion, which are building your reality? What stories have you created about relationships that you believe in? Are these stories making your life better, or are you experiencing depression because of these stories?

Summary:
How we human beings create reality? As per NLP Presuppositions, there is no ultimate reality. Human beings create a reality in a structured way. It depends upon how we, as human beings, process the information inside our heads. Because there is no direct way for us to gather information from this world. We collect the information through senses. We need to understand the mechanism of our mind, which processes the data in myriad ways among the individuals.
